  Dates to Remember

Last day to register to vote in City election is October 6th. All registration forms must be turned in to the County Clerk’s Office at the County Building, 845 N. Motel Blvd.

Absentee voting in person will begin on October, 7th. You can go to the City Clerk’s Office and fill out an absentee ballot and turn it in.

Absentee ballots (mail in) will be sent out from the City Clerk’s Office on October 7th. People can start requesting ballots now, but the ballots will not be sent out until October 7th. You can call the City Clerk (541-2115) and request a ballot for yourself or immediate family member. A form will be sent to your house. When completed, send back to City Clerk.

Once it’s verified, a ballot will be sent to your house. That ballot needs to be sent or brought back to the City Office Building (200 N. Church St., Las Cruces, NM 88004), by you or an immediate family member, by November 3, 2009.

Early voting in person at the City Hall office (200 N. Church St.) begins on October 14th. Hours are: Monday-Friday, 8am -5pm.

Saturday voting will be at the City Hall on October 17th, 24th, and 31st.
Hours are: 10am -6pm.

Last day to vote by absentee ballot in person is October 31st.

November 3rd is Election Day at your Polling Place.
